The professional baseball Lotte Giants announced on the 1st that they will recruit fan observers in time for the spring camp schedule, which will resume for the first time in three years. The Lotte Giants club will run a fan observation team for the 2023 Okinawa Spring Camp in Japan with Lotte JTV, one of its parent group affiliates.
The spring camp fan observation team is a product that allows visitors to tour Okinawa, including a schedule with the team. It will be held for three nights and four days from the 27th to March 2nd and will depart from Incheon Airport.
Participants in the camp can watch practice games with the Lotte Giants and domestic professional teams, and participate in dinner events with athletes and cheerleaders. Cho Ji-hoon, head of the cheering squad, will host the event and a special cheerleader performance will also be followed.
The Okinawa tour schedule consisted of visits to Shuri Castle, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the largest aquarium in the East, and the Naha International Street. The club said, “The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is expected to quench the thirst for overseas travel, which has been thirsty for a long time.”
