Don Spike

Don Spike (Kim Min-soo, 45), a composer suspected of taking methamphetamine, attended an appeal trial.

On the morning of the 6th, the first trial of Don Spike, who is accused of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes, was held at the Seoul High Court.

On the same day, Don Spike entered the court wearing a black suit and covering his face with a black bucket hat and mask. He hurriedly left his seat, consistently silent to reporters’ questions.

Don Spike is accused of administering methamphetamine 14 times from December last year to September this year in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Five of them are known to have been jointly administered with others.

Don Spike is also accused of buying methamphetamine worth about 45 million won nine times using Telegram and others, and issuing methamphetamine and ecstasy seven times.

He is also suspected of possessing about 30 grams of methamphetamine when he was arrested at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul in September. Considering that the dose is usually about 0.03g per dose, it corresponds to about 1,000 doses.

The first trial court sentenced Don Spike to three years in prison and five years of probation in January
