JYP Entertainment first face-to-face open audition in three years.
Artists from JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) have started cheering for the 17th audition for JYP Entertainment trainees.
JYP Entertainment will hold auditions for the 17th public recruitment in 2023 in six cities in Korea from Jan. 28 to Feb. 19 to select the next-generation main character to lead K-pop. In response, JYP artists TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, X-Dinner Heroes, and Nmix delivered affectionate support and encouraged support through JYP Entertainment’s official YouTube channel video. It also helped discover the next generation of stars by guiding the host area as well as the support field.
This audition is the first face-to-face audition in about three years at JYP since the 16th audition in 2020. The audition for JYP trainees, which boasts a tradition, drew attention as a gateway to the entrance of many representative K-pop artists. Currently, 2PM Woo-young, TWICE Nayeon and Jeongyeon, Stray Kids Seung-min, and X-Dinner Heroes Jung-soo from JYP are performing globally as former auditions for public recruitment.
Starting with Incheon Arts High School on Jan. 28, the 17th audition will be held in six cities nationwide, including Gwangju Youth Life Design Center on Feb. 4, Daejeon Jung-gu Cultural Center on Feb. 5, Suyeong-gu Youth Culture Center in Busan on Feb. 11, Nam-gu Youth Creation Center in Daegu on 12th, and Howon Art Hall at Howon University in Seoul on 17th-19.
Audition applications are available until 11:59 p.m. on the official website of JYP Entertainment’s audition for each region. Anyone born before 2012 or after 2001 can apply, and you can choose one of the five areas of vocal, rap, dance, model, and acting that you are most confident in.
