Netmarble Gets ‘Grade A’ of MSCI ESG Evaluation

Netmarble

Netmarble announced on the 20th that it has obtained an A grade in the “MSCI ESG Evaluation” announced by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), a global ESG evaluation agency.

Netmarble, which received a BB grade in 2020, is on the rise to BBB in 2021 and A in the first half of this year.

Netmarble received high scores in the areas of external disclosure of core corporate ethics issues such as internal reporter protection system, improvement and disclosure of talent management programs, independent board of directors and major committees (audit, salary, appointment, etc.), and transparent accounting risk management.

The “MSCI ESG Evaluation,” which has been in effect since 1999, gives ESG ratings to companies that have released them in the securities market. According to an evaluation of 79 major companies in Korea last year, only 32% of all companies have A or higher.

Netmarble established ‘ESG Management Committee’ in December last year and is stepping up efforts to strengthen ESG management. In March this year, it published its first report on ESG vision and philosophy. The second ESG report containing the results of last year’s activities will be released by the end of this year. 코인파워볼
