Samsung’s ‘Galaxy Z-Fold 3 & Z Flip 3’ is almost 1 million people waiting in China.
Samsung Electronics’ 3rd generation foldable smartphones ‘Galaxy Zfold 3’ and ‘Galaxy Z Flip 3′ seem to be waiting for 1 million people in China.
At Samsung Electronics’ official store on China’s e-commerce platform Jingdong Dotcom on the 30th (local time), the number of people waiting for Z Flip 3 exceeded 619,000 as of 11 a.m. on the same day. At the same time, more than 80,000 people waited for Z-Fold 3. In Tianmao, Alibaba, the number of people waiting for Zfold3 and Z Flip3 was 103,000 and 65,000, respectively, as of noon the previous day.
It seems that Z-fold 3 and Z-Flip 3 in China will be released higher than in South Korea. Currently, the price of Z-fold 3 in China is 15,999 yuan (about 2.88 million won) based on 512GB, and Z-Flip 3 starts at 8,599 yuan (about 1.55 million won). Considering that Z-fold 3 and Z-Flip 3 with the same specifications are 2,097,700 won and 1,254,000 won, respectively, they are up to 800,000 won more expensive.
Samsung Electronics will officially introduce Z-fold 3 and Z-flip 3 in China on the 1st of next month and start pre-booking. The official sale starts September 10th September.
