According to the official website of the U.S. Billboard on January 30, TWICE will win the “Breakthrough Artist” category of the “Billboard Women in Music” Awards to be held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on March 1.

Billboard Women in Music is a large-scale awards ceremony hosted by Billboard that awards the best female artists, creators, producers and executives who have had the biggest impact on the music industry throughout the year. Twice re-evidently became the first K-pop female artist to win the honor of Idina Menzel, Tory Kelly, Maren Morris, and Camila Cabello, the award’s all-time winners.

In addition, TWICE recently set a new record on Spotify, a global music streaming platform. TWICE, which first entered the Spotify Daily Top Artist US chart on November 12, 2021, posted its name on the chart as of the 23rd of this month and achieved a cumulative chart of 96 days. This is a new record that has been ranked on the chart for the longest time among K-pop girl groups. It continued to rank on the chart on January 25, extending this record to a total of 98 days and breaking the record.

TWICE released its pre-released English single “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” on January 20 and is gaining global momentum. The new song topped the global chart on the Spotify Top Songs debut chart (01.20~01.22), ranked second on the U.S. chart, and seventh on the U.K. chart. As of the 20th, it entered the Spotify Daily Top Songs U.S. chart at 39th place and recorded career high, and also ranked 60th on the global chart.

TWICE, which has been making meaningful achievements since the beginning of 2023, will release a new mini-album in March and continue to rise in global popularity.
